Titanium Superhero

Titanium
Titanium is a very strong and very durable superhero. He is silver in color and he is very anti corrosive to things like sea water and chlorine. He was discovered by William Gregor in 1791 and was named Titanium from the Titans of Greek Mythology. One of his powers is using titanium tetrachloride to create smoke screens and catalysts. Titanium's armor is made of alloyed titanium, iron, aluminum, vanadium, and molybdenum which produces lightweight alloys for aerospace objects like missiles, jet engines, and spaceships. He has the highest strength to weight ratio of any other metal in the Periodic Table of Elements. Titanium is of the strongest superheroes in the world but he is also lightweight and fast. He is also commonly used to create strong sheet, plates, bars, wire, forgings, and castings. He is also used in pyrotechnics as a source of bright-burning particles. Titanium is the strongest out of them all.

History of the Periodic Table

Dalton had so much of a passion for weather that he kept a meteorological diary for 57 years straight. He discovered the "ultimate particles" (atoms), and he determined that the universe was made of them. He also discovered that everything had an atomic weight and all things made of atoms weigh different because of weight. Bezalius was a Swedish Chemist who made his own equipment as a glass blower, while he was making his glass equipment he discovered Silicon in the glass. He also discovered thorium, cerium, and sillium. While he studied the elements he studied over 2,000 compounds and weighed 45 weights of elements. Dobereiner was a German scientist who discovered that elements formed triads, family's of elements in 3's. He found that some elements acted like other elements and he grouped them into families. Mendeleev was a Russian Scientist who when he was still a child traveled with his mother to St. Petersburg to gain a better education for Mendeleev. Only 10 weeks after they arrived his mother died. While he was a student in St. Petersburg he attended the International Chemistry Conference. His study in his apartment is considered the birthplace of the periodic table. Cannizaro was an Italian Scientist who discovered that equal volumes of gasses contained equal weights. Newlands was an English scientist who defined the Law of Octaves which stated every eighth element will act in the same way, also known as the law of periodicity. Moseley arranged the periodic table by atomic number.

Which of the characters do you find most interesting and why?
I think that Dalton was the most interesting person out of this group of people. He had such a strong passion for just one section. He spent 57+ years of his life studying weather and studying the patterns it presented. I find it very hard to stay on that track for that long and I find it very interesting.
